The 18-hole golf course is located between Andermatt and Hospental. From 2014, it will be available for use by all owners of Andermatt Swiss Alps properties and hotel guests in the Andermatt region. It will be open for the general public from 2016.
The Andermatt golf course was designed by the architect Kurt Rossknecht. It is set in the beautiful scenery of the Urseren valley, making for the perfect alpine golfing experience. This is a par-72 championship golf course. The course covers an area of 130 hectares. There is also to be a clubhouse that is due to open in 2016 with a restaurant and sunshine terrace. By then, the golf course will also be accessible for the general public.
Already in 2014, the owners of Andermatt Swiss Alps properties and hotel guests in the Andermatt holiday region will be able to use the golf course on a "pay and play" basis. It is essential to have an official handicap certificate in order to play.
